Ward Thomas and Dan Owen - Someone To Someone on New Music Friday

Good to see the new Ward Thomas / Dan Owen single featured on New Music Friday this week.

Written by Catherine, Lizzie, Dan, Jessica Sharman and myself, Someone to Someone is about a friend of Dan’s who was subjected to a campaign of online bullying. Tragically, he had some issues which meant that he was unable to deal with it and ended up committing suicide. Hopefully the song will remind us that social media can make people feel distant and somehow depersonalised, but in reality everybody experiences complex emotions and has family and friends who care about them.
